Pawan Kalyan's Development Drive in Pithapuram: Upasana Joins with Health Initiative

In Andhra Pradesh, the work in the departments led by Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan is progressing rapidly. Development works are being carried out, especially focusing on providing water and roads to the villages and meeting the basic needs of the people. His constituency, Pithapuram, is seeing significant development. Numerous development programs and solutions to local issues have been undertaken by Pawan. Now, with the support of Mega daughter-in-law Upasana, development efforts in the region are set to expand further.

Mega daughter-in-law and wife of Ram Charan, Upasana, is stepping in to contribute to the development through her Apollo organization. She has announced a new initiative on the occasion of her grandfather-in-law, Dr. Pratap Reddy's, birthday. Upasana will launch a program called "Motherhood," aimed at promoting health and nutrition for mothers and newborns in Pithapuram. In collaboration with the Apollo Medical College and Apollo Foundation, a model Anganwadi center will be inaugurated, offering nutritional food and healthcare to mothers and infants. Additionally, women will be given skill training to help them achieve financial independence, while also raising awareness about mother care and women’s empowerment. Upasana’s initiative plans to restore 109 Anganwadi centers, starting from Pithapuram and expanding across the state.

Pawan Kalyan continues to drive development in Pithapuram. Funds have already been allocated for the modernization of the livestock market. The Pithapuram–Samarla Kota road has been constructed, and dilapidated local roads have been rebuilt. A 100-bed hospital has been approved for Pithapuram. Pawan Kalyan has also worked with the Railway Ministry to ensure that certain trains will stop at Pithapuram. An Area Development Authority has been established in Pithapuram, and protective walls have been constructed on bridges over canals. He has personally funded the purchase of one acre of land for a sports ground at the government school and has provided computers for the government college and sports kits for the school. The issue of the dumping yard has been resolved, and regular development works continue across all the villages in Pithapuram constituency under the leadership of Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan.
