In 2024, one of the names searched by the most Indians on Google was that of Pawan Kalyan. According to the Google search trend report for 2024, Pawan Kalyan was among the top people searched this year, standing out both as an actor and a political leader in India.

Among the top search trends on Google this year was Vinesh Phogat, who bid farewell to wrestling and contested in the Haryana elections as a Congress candidate, winning as an MLA. Radika Merchant, the daughter-in-law of the Ambani family and wife of Anant Ambani, ranked eighth in the list of most searched people.
