Meanwhile, the makers have unveiled the first-look poster of a prominent actor, leaving viewers struggling to recognize him at first glance.

The person featured in the newly released image is Jagapathi Babu. Once widely known for his roles as a leading man, he has in recent years focused mainly on character-driven performances. Although he has portrayed both mass-oriented and refined roles, his on-screen appearance has largely remained familiar. However, his look in Peddi is said to be a drastic departure from his previous appearances, making him almost unrecognizable. Jagapathi Babu will be seen portraying a character named Appalasuri. Whether this role carries positive or negative shades will only be revealed when the film hits theatres.

Set against a sports-based storyline, Peddi features Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead opposite Ram Charan. Renowned Kannada actor Shivarajkumar plays a key role in the project. The film is directed by Buchi Babu, with music composed by A R Rahman.
