"Peddi," a mass sports-action drama starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, has sparked intense competition between Netflix and Prime Video for its digital rights after its "First Shot" teaser. The film, directed by Buchi Babu, showcases Ram Charan in a new rugged avatar with a Northern Andhra dialect. T-Series has acquired the movie’s music rights for a record price.

The cast includes Ram Charan, Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, Jagapathi Babu, and others, with AR Rahman composing the music. Produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru, the film is backed by Vriddhi Cinemas, Sukumar Writings, and Mythri Movie Makers, with cinematography by R Rathnavelu.
