Peddi vs Lenin Box Office Clash Update: New Release Dates Explained

Peddi vs Lenin Release Dates

The much-anticipated film Peddi, starring Ram Charan, has once again been postponed, confirming recent speculation circulating within the industry. While the film’s team has maintained silence regarding the delay, producer SKN officially revealed the updated release timeline during a film event held on Monday evening.

Initially, Peddi was scheduled to release on March 27, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday. However, as production timelines shifted, the release was later pushed to April 30. With crucial portions of filming—particularly an item song and another sequence—still pending, the team faced additional setbacks.

Reports also indicate that Ram Charan recently sustained an eye injury, further impacting the film’s schedule and making it difficult to meet the previously announced release date. As a result, the makers have decided to delay the release once again.

According to the latest update, Peddi is now expected to hit theatres on June 25, with an official announcement anticipated shortly.

Meanwhile, release schedules of other films are also undergoing changes. Akhil’s Lenin, which was initially expected around the same time, has reportedly been postponed to June 26, creating a closely contested release window.

Additionally, Nikhil Siddhartha is preparing to release Swayambhu on the same date if Peddi faces further delays. Other projects, including Tarun Bhascker’s Ghayapada Simham and Dhanush’s Kara, are also in the pipeline, targeting similar release periods.

With multiple films shifting schedules and no major star-led releases confirmed for the summer season, the box office landscape appears uncertain. If delays continue, this summer may once again pass without major star-driven releases in Telugu cinema.
