Popular freelance radio jockey (RJ) and social media influencer Simran Singh, who was from Jammu, was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Gurugram. The 25-year-old Simran was discovered lifeless in her apartment in Sector 47.

Simran's roommate was the one who alerted the police about the incident. After the post-mortem, the body was handed over to her family. Preliminary investigations suggested that Simran might have committed suicide.

However, her family believes that Simran's death might have been caused by something other than suicide, as no suicide note was found at the scene. Simran Singh was popular on social media, especially on Instagram, where she had 683k followers. Previously, she worked at a popular radio station, gaining fame as the youngest radio jockey in Jammu. Her last post on Instagram, dated December 13, showed her dancing on a beach while wearing a gown from the song "Dhadak".
