Posani Krishna Murali Arrested
The Annamayya district Railway Koduru court has given a big shock to actor and YSRCP leader Posani Krishna Murali by ordering a 14-day remand. He was arrested in a case related to provoking enmity and hatred among film fans and political parties.
Janasena leader Jogineni Mani from Korlakunta, Obulavaripalle Mandal, filed a complaint against Posani at the local police station on February 24. Based on this, the police registered a case under Sections 196, 353(2), 111 read with 3(5). On Wednesday night, Obulavaripalle police arrested Posani from his Hyderabad residence and took him to the local station. A medical examination was conducted on Thursday morning, followed by a lengthy interrogation. Later, he was presented before the Railway Koduru court at 9:30 PM on Thursday.
Posani's lawyer, Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy, argued that he should be granted bail under Section 41A of the BNS Act. After hearing both sides, the court delivered its verdict at 5 AM on Friday, ordering 14-day judicial remand until March 12. Following this, Posani Krishna Murali is likely to be shifted to Kadapa Central Jail.
