Prabhas, who has achieved back-to-back hits with films like Salaar and Kalki, is currently involved in over a dozen projects. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, only one Prabhas movie was released per year. However, he broke that pattern in 2023 by releasing two films. In 2024, only Kalki was released, but Prabhas is now determined to follow the two films per year rule. As part of this, two films featuring Prabhas are expected to release this year. The shooting of his upcoming movie The Raja Saab is almost complete, and the shooting of a film directed by Hanu Raghavapudi is also underway. Along with these, Prabhas is set to begin shooting for the movie Spirit directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga in May. The shooting for Spirit is expected to be completed within a year, and the movie is anticipated to release in early or mid-2026.

The movie Spirit is said to revolve around the story of an honest police officer seeking revenge after losing his job due to his integrity. The plot involves the officer hunting down a villain who tried to kill his family. In the first half of the movie, Prabhas will portray a disciplined and honest character, while in the second half, he will be seen in a more violent role. The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, known for his previous works like Arjun Reddy and Animal. According to Sandeep, this movie will be different from his past two projects.

The producer of Spirit is Bhushan Kumar, a Bollywood producer who previously worked with Prabhas on another film. Bhushan Kumar will be managing the production of this high-budget project as well.
