Producer Bunny Vasu announced this after previously scheduling the film for August, but delaying it due to unfinished work. The announcement comes amid various rumors about its release date.

Mythri Movie Makers shared on Instagram that there are only 75 days left until audiences can experience "Pushpa" on the big screen, highlighting the film's significance in Indian cinema. Allu Arjun also addressed concerns at a recent pre-release event, confirming that the film will indeed be released on December 6, 2024, dispelling speculation about a possible postponement to 2025.

Following the massive success of the first installment, anticipation for "Pushpa 2" has been high, especially after the trailer, released on Allu Arjun's birthday, showcased him in a striking new look with traditional attire and dramatic makeup.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the sequel features Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil, Rashmika Mandanna, Dhananjaya, Jagadeesh Prathap Bandari, Rao Ramesh, and Ajay in key roles. Rashmika has promised fans that this installment will be "bigger" than the first.

The excitement grew further with the release of a new poster featuring Fahadh Faasil as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, depicted with a gun and axe, exuding intensity a portrayal that received praise in the first film, "Pushpa: The Rise."
