Director Puri Jagannadh has wrapped up his upcoming project featuring Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi in the lead. The production team officially confirmed on social media that the film, which was shot under the working title “Puri Sethupathi,” has successfully completed its filming schedule.

They shared that the project was finished after several months filled with memorable, emotional, and enjoyable experiences. The makers also promised that a series of announcements and promotional updates will follow shortly, along with a humorous video clip.

In the video, Vijay Sethupathi is seen expressing that he will genuinely miss working with Puri Jagannadh. The shoot began in the first week of July and was completed within five months. The film features a joint female lead, while Tabu and Vijay Kumar play significant supporting roles. Sethupathi is set to portray a character unlike any he has previously played.

The movie’s title has been finalized as “Beggar,” and it is planned for a pan-India theatrical release.
