Pushpa 2 Makers Accused Of Hiding Rs 2300 Crore Box Office Collection

Did Pushpa 2 The Rule Gross Over Rs 2300 Crore? Truth Behind the Controversy

There have been rumors circulating that Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun's blockbuster sequel, earned a staggering Rs 2300 crore worldwide. Following recent IT raids at Mythri Movie Makers’ offices and director Sukumar’s residences in Hyderabad, it was speculated that the movie may have surpassed Aamir Khan's Dangal, possibly grossing over Rs 2200 crore. Allegations suggest that the producers underreported the actual collections to avoid taxes, with some claiming that over Rs 550 crore might have been fabricated.

While the truth remains unclear, Pushpa 2 continues to perform phenomenally at the box office, with its success continuing even 50 days post-release. The filmmakers have yet to address the controversy, leaving fans and critics waiting for an official statement.

In Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun reprises his role as Pushpa Raj, the leader of a red sandalwood smuggling syndicate, who faces a fierce challenge from Banwar Singh Shekawat (Fahadh Faasil), marking an epic showdown between the two.
