Allu Arjun Arrested After Pushpa 2 Stampede, 8-Year-Old Boy Suffers Brain Damage
An eight-year-old boy, Sri Tej, suffered brain damage in a stampede during the Pushpa 2 premiere at Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The child, who remains on ventilator support, has been hospitalized since the incident. Telangana Police Commissioner C.V. Anand shared that Sri Tej's brain damage was caused by a lack of oxygen during the stampede, and recovery will be a long process.
Allu Arjun, who was arrested in connection with the stampede and the death of Sri Tej's mother, has expressed deep concern for the boy's condition. Due to ongoing legal proceedings, he has been advised not to visit Sri Tej or his family but remains committed to supporting them.
The actor was granted interim bail for four weeks, but delays in paperwork led to him spending a night in jail. A case is pending against him, and Telangana police are considering challenging the bail in the Supreme Court.
