Rajamouli and Suriya's Missed Collaboration: The Story Behind 'Magadheera' and Their Viral Conversation

Rajamouli and Suriya's Missed Collaboration

Tamil superstar Suriya and director Rajamouli were once planning to collaborate on a film, which was supposed to happen but for some unknown reason, it didn’t materialize. Both Suriya and Rajamouli spoke about this at the pre-release event of the movie "Kanguva," which Suriya is starring in, directed by Shiva. The film is set to release on November 14, and the team hosted a grand pre-release event in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Rajamouli attended the event as the chief guest. During his speech, he shared that Suriya was his inspiration for making the movie "Baahubali" and that they had planned to work together on a film, but it didn’t happen. Suriya, while addressing the crowd, humorously remarked that he missed the opportunity, but he wasn’t talking about Rajamouli missing the chance—he himself missed the opportunity.

Suriya then took the mic and said, "Sir, I missed the train," referring to not being able to work with Rajamouli. He added, "Even now, I am standing at the railway station, but I believe that one day I will catch that train." The conversation between the two became a viral topic on social media. The movie they were supposed to collaborate on is speculated to be "Magadheera," a film that featured Mega Power Star Ram Charan. A video from a recent event where Ram Charan himself revealed this information is currently going viral.
