Rajinikanth's Jailer Sequel Hukum Set for December 12 Announcement

After a series of disappointments with films like Darbar, Petta, and Kala, Tamil superstar Rajinikanth made a strong comeback with Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar. With this hit, Rajinikanth got back on track, but his following films, Lal Salaam and Vettiyan, failed at the box office. Now, Rajinikanth desperately needs a hit. In this context, he is working with director Lokesh Kanagaraj on the film Kooli. The shooting is currently in progress, and the makers plan to release it by next year’s May Day.

Along with Kooli, after the success of Jailer, Nelson is eager to work on another blockbuster for Rajinikanth. He is determined to deliver another hit for Rajini and is reportedly planning to make the sequel to Jailer. It has been reported that the shooting for the sequel has already begun. Recently, Meerna Menon, who played Rajinikanth’s daughter-in-law in Jailer, hinted about the sequel on social media. There are chances that the movie will be officially announced on December 12, Rajinikanth’s birthday.

The title Hukum is being considered for the Jailer sequel. There is a buzz that actors Mohanlal, Shiv Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff, who made cameo appearances in Jailer, will return for the sequel. Additionally, Rajinikanth’s son-in-law, Dhanush, is rumored to make an appearance, and it’s expected that another actor will play a role similar to Ramya Krishnan’s character from the first film.
