Rakul stated, “The Telugu Film Industry is renowned for its creativity and professionalism. It pains me to hear such baseless and vicious rumors.” She urged people to stop using her name for malicious purposes, emphasizing that artists should be kept out of political disputes.

Konda Surekha had claimed that KT Rama Rao demanded Samantha's presence to prevent the demolition of Nagarjuna’s N Convention Center, suggesting that her refusal contributed to the couple's divorce. These allegations have prompted backlash from Samantha's colleagues, who labeled the claims as baseless and hurtful.
