Director Ram Gopal Varma faced trouble for posting offensive content about prominent political leaders on social media.The High Court postponed the hearing of the anticipatory bail petitions filed by RGV to the following day. Currently, RGV is absconding, and Ongole police are continuing their search for him in Hyderabad and Tamil Nadu. It is reported that Andhra Pradesh (AP) police have traveled to Coimbatore in search of him.

A case has been registered against RGV in Madi Padu Police Station, Prakasam district, for morphing the photos of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Minister Nara Lokesh and posting them on X (formerly Twitter). Cases have also been filed against him in Visakhapatnam and Guntur districts. Despite police sending him notices, RGV did not appear for questioning. On November 25, a notice was sent to him to appear for questioning, and he filed another anticipatory bail petition in the High Court. Although he was supposed to appear for the hearing on Monday, there has been no update from him.

After receiving no information from RGV, the police visited his office in Hyderabad around 11 AM the next day. Despite speaking to RGV’s personal assistant and manager, he was unavailable. The police believe RGV intentionally switched off his phone to mislead them. The police are now searching for him in Hyderabad as well as Tamil Nadu. On the 23rd, RGV tweeted a photo with actors from a shooting he attended in Coimbatore, which led the AP police to also travel to Coimbatore in search of him.
