Ram Gopal Varma Seeks Anticipatory Bail from High Court After Missing Police Questioning
Ram Gopal Varma has approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court for anticipatory bail after failing to attend police questioning, following the dismissal of his quash petition.

Controversial director Ram Gopal Varma has once again approached the Andhra Pradesh High Court. It is well known that Varma had faced setbacks in the past regarding the quash petition in the High Court. Now, he has filed for an anticipatory bail petition, requesting pre-arrest bail in a case filed by the Ongole police.
After the High Court dismissed his quash petition, Varma has now filed for anticipatory bail in connection with the case registered by the police. Meanwhile, according to police notices, Varma was supposed to appear for questioning on Tuesday, the 19th of this month. However, he sent a WhatsApp message to the concerned police officers in the morning, stating that he could not attend the questioning and needed more time.
Subsequently, Varma's lawyers visited the police station and explained that Varma could not attend the questioning that day due to a film shoot, requesting some more time. Despite not attending the police questioning, Varma has now approached the High Court for anticipatory bail. The High Court is expected to hear the anticipatory bail petition tomorrow.
