Virosh Fan Meet in Hyderabad: Actors Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, who recently tied the knot, delighted fans during a special fan meet event in Hyderabad ahead of their grand reception. The couple hosted the gathering under the affectionate name “Virosh,” a blend of their names that has become popular among their fans.

In the widely circulated video, Rashmika and Vijay are welcomed warmly by fans with a shower of rose petals. The couple is seen interacting with supporters, shaking hands and sharing smiles. Rashmika also signs an autograph on a fan’s T-shirt.

In one of the most heartwarming moments from the event, Rashmika is seen feeding Vijay while the couple also served food to fans as part of the celebrations. The gesture was received with excitement and cheers from the audience.

Wedding Celebrations

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda got married in Udaipur on February 26 in a multi-cultural ceremony celebrating both their traditions. The wedding began with a Telugu ceremony in the morning, honouring Vijay’s heritage, followed by a Kodava ceremony in the evening, reflecting Rashmika’s cultural roots.

Although the couple initially remained private about their wedding plans, they began sharing glimpses of their pre-wedding celebrations with fans starting February 23.

The celebrations included a Japanese-themed dinner, a pool volleyball match, and a friendly cricket game titled the “Virosh Premiere League.”

Pre-Wedding Functions

The sangeet ceremony was held on February 24 at the scenic hill resort Mementos, followed by intimate haldi and mehendi ceremonies on February 25.

Several celebrities from the film industry attended the wedding festivities, including Tharun Bhascker, Rahul Ravindran, Eesha Rebba, Ashika Ranganath, Shravya Varma, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, and Kalyani Priyadarshan.

Reception Plans

Initially, the reception scheduled in Hyderabad was planned as a grand celebration with guests from the Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada film industries, along with prominent political and administrative leaders.

However, the couple’s team later confirmed that the event would be strictly invite-only due to security concerns.

In a statement, the couple said:

"Your safety and happiness mean everything to us. We are deeply grateful for your blessings and support, and we request your cooperation in helping us keep this celebration safe and joyful for everyone."

Reports also indicate that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was invited to attend the reception on March 4.

Virosh Celebrations Continue

Following their wedding, Rashmika and Vijay visited the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams temple on March 1 to seek blessings. They also distributed sweets to devotees at the temple premises.

The couple later travelled to Vijay Deverakonda’s native village, Thummanpeta in Telangana, where they performed their Gruhapravesam (housewarming ceremony) and Satyanarayana Vratam puja at their new home.

The celebrations concluded with the special Virosh fan meet in Hyderabad, where the couple spent time interacting with fans and expressing gratitude for their support.

Meanwhile, Rashmika Mandanna’s wedding post on social media has reportedly become the most-liked wedding post in Asia, surpassing the previous record held by Virat Kohli.
