Rashmika Mandanna Unveils Fierce Warrior Avatar in New Pan-India Film 'Maisa'

Rashmika Mandanna, who recently tasted success with Kubera, has announced a new and exciting project titled Maisa. The film will be directed by Ravindra Phule and released on a pan-India level in five languages. In the announcement poster, Rashmika appears in a fierce and powerful look, sparking curiosity among fans. The movie is being produced by Unformuel Films. The production team shared the poster with the caption: "Courage is her strength. There is no compassion in her will… Not to hear her roar… To scare you!" The visuals clearly suggest that Rashmika will be seen playing the role of a warrior in this film.

Sharing her excitement about the project, Rashmika said, "I always choose films that feel fresh, different, and thrilling. Maisa is exactly that. It's a role I've never attempted before, set in a world I haven't explored yet. It's a version of me the audience hasn't seen. I'm eagerly looking forward to bringing this story to life. This is just the beginning."

In recent times, Rashmika has delivered multiple blockbusters, with Kubera joining the Rs 100 crore club, except for Sikandar. Her upcoming slate of films is impressive. She will next be seen in The Girlfriend, directed by Rahul Ravindran. Additionally, she's paired opposite Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana in Thamma, a romantic film with supernatural elements, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. With Maisa added to the list, Rashmika is also set to reprise her role in the much-awaited sequel Pushpa 2, following the massive success of the original.
