Mass Maharaja Raviteja delivered his last hit with Dhamaka in 2022. The film, directed by Trinadh Rao Nakkina, featured Raviteja and Sreeleela and became a massive hit, grossing over 100 crores, marking Raviteja’s first film to reach the 100 crore mark. Since then, Raviteja hasn’t had another hit, but he is set to come back soon with a movie titled Mass Jathara, which has high expectations for success.

Meanwhile, Dhamaka director Trinadh Rao Nakkina is gearing up for the release of his upcoming film Majaka, starring Sandeep Kishan, Ritu Varma, Rao Ramesh, and Anshu Ambani. Majaka is set to release on February 26, and during the promotions, Trinadh Rao Nakkina shared his plans for future projects. He mentioned that they had considered making a sequel to Majaka, and even thought of the title Double Majaka, but decided to hold off on it for now.

Trinadh Rao Nakkina also revealed that he has narrated a story to Raviteja that surpasses Dhamaka, and the title Double Dhamaka is being considered for it. Once Majaka releases, he plans to discuss with the producers whether to proceed with Double Majaka or Double Dhamaka. Trinadh confirmed that Raviteja has already heard the story and given his approval. While Sandeep is busy with two more films after Majaka, Raviteja has yet to announce his next project after Mass Jathara, so it seems the Double Dhamaka film with Raviteja and Trinadh Rao Nakkina might be coming soon. There’s also speculation that Sreeleela might play the heroine in Double Dhamaka.
