Renowned Telugu Lyricist Kulasekhar Passes Away at 54

The Telugu film industry is mourning the loss of renowned lyricist Kulasekhar (54), who passed away on Tuesday morning at Gandhi Hospital in Hyderabad after battling health issues for several days. Known for penning lyrics for blockbuster films like Chitram, Nuvvu-Nenu, Manasantha Nuvve, Ounanna Kadhanna, Gharshana, Bhadra, Santosham, Jayam, and Sainikudu, Kulasekhar was a celebrated figure in the industry.

Despite working as a star lyricist for over 100 films, Kulasekhar’s life took a tragic turn due to his struggle with bad habits, which distanced him from the film industry and his family. A few years ago, he was arrested in a theft case and served six months in jail. After his release, his career as a lyricist collapsed, leaving him mentally distressed.

The emotional and physical strain eventually led to health complications, and he passed away in a pitiable state. Upon hearing the news of his demise, several prominent figures from the film industry expressed their condolences and paid tributes to the late lyricist.
