Kannada star actor Rishab Shetty, who created a sensation with Kantara, seems to have given the green signal for a Telugu film. Currently busy with the Kantara prequel, Rishab is making his entry into Telugu cinema with Prashanth Varma's much-awaited film Jai Hanuman. The first look of the film recently released and received a great response. Now, Rishab Shetty seems to be ready to do a straight Telugu film as the solo hero.

It is being reported on social media that Ashwin Gangaraju, known for Aakashavani, will direct this film, and top production house Sithara Entertainments will produce it. Rishab Shetty reportedly agreed to the film because he liked the newness of the story and the emotional depth of his character. The official announcement regarding the film is expected this week.
