Kannada actress Rukmini Vasanth is making waves in the winter season. After gaining recognition with the film Sapta Sagaradaache Ello, she is now securing roles in star-studded films. She is currently working on the prequel to the Kannada blockbuster Kantara and has also bagged a role in Tamil star Sivakarthikeyan's film directed by AR Murugadoss. Most recently, Rukmini has landed a lucky opportunity to star opposite Young Tiger Jr. NTR in his upcoming movie.

When previously asked about her involvement in Jr. NTR's film during an interview, Rukmini had denied it. However, the Kannada beauty has now signed the project. The agreement formalities have reportedly been completed by the makers. The film, directed by Kannada star filmmaker Prashanth Neel, is being jointly produced by Tollywood’s renowned production house Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts. The film recently had its puja ceremony and is currently in pre-production. Regular shooting is expected to commence soon.

Meanwhile, Jr. NTR is currently occupied with the shooting of War 2. On the other hand, Rukmini is making her mark in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada cinema, solidifying her place in the industry.
