Rukshar Dhillon Slams Unwanted Photography at Film Event Sparks Controversy

Actress Rukshar Dhillon recently expressed her frustration at a film event regarding unauthorized photography. While it is common for photographers and attendees to take pictures of celebrities at movie events, Rukshar was upset that people continued clicking pictures despite her discomfort. She attended the trailer launch event of her upcoming film Dil Ruba alongside Kiran Abbavaram, set to release on March 14. During the event, she questioned, "Is it right or wrong to take pictures even after I said I was uncomfortable? I politely requested them not to click photos, yet they didn’t listen." However, she avoided naming anyone directly.

Rukshar Dhillon’s comments went viral, and many speculated that she was referring to a senior journalist known for regularly posting close-up pictures of actresses from film events. Previously, at another Dil Ruba event, the journalist had taken and shared a close-up photo of Rukshar, leading to assumptions that she was pointing at him. However, actor Kiran Abbavaram clarified via a tweet that there was no connection between Rukshar’s comments and the senior journalist.

Generally, photographers from various media outlets cover celebrities at film events, and it is a standard practice. However, at the Dil Ruba trailer launch, when photographers attempted to take Rukshar’s pictures, she reportedly stated that she was not comfortable in her outfit and requested them not to click her photos. As a result, she was even excluded from some group photos on stage. Photographers later responded that they were present to capture celebrities and give them publicity, but if a celebrity refuses, there is no point in taking their photos. Currently, Rukshar Dhillon’s remarks have sparked widespread discussion, with different people sharing different perspectives on the controversy.
