Salman Khan Gets New Death Threats from Bishnoi Gang
Bollywood star Salman Khan has once again received death threats from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's gang. In recent times, Salman has been repeatedly threatened both directly and indirectly. Most recently, the threats came via WhatsApp, where unknown individuals warned that Salman would be killed in his own home. They also threatened to bomb his car. The message was reportedly sent to the official WhatsApp number of the Worli Transport Department, as confirmed by Mumbai Police. A case has been registered at the Worli police station, and an investigation is underway.
Since the 1998 blackbuck poaching case, Salman Khan has been at the top of Lawrence Bishnoi gang's hit list. He has received several threats from them over the years. In April last year, gunshots were fired in front of Salman’s residence at Galaxy Apartments by two men on a motorbike, who then fled the scene. During the investigation, police discovered another plot in June to attack Salman while he was traveling from his Panvel farmhouse to his home. Due to these ongoing threats, Salman is currently under heavy security cover.
Salman has taken extra personal safety measures. Considering the danger from gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Mumbai Police have provided him Y-Plus security. Additionally, bulletproof glass fencing has been installed at his Galaxy Apartment flat in Mumbai. Due to the continuous threats, Salman is also being cautious with his shooting schedules and is avoiding outdoor shoots. Recently, Salman addressed the threats, saying he believes in God and that everything is in His hands. He added, “As long as I have life, I’ll live. Security has increased around me everywhere, but sometimes even that feels challenging.” On the film front, Salman’s latest release Sikandar recently hit screens as a Ramzan special, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna.
