Samantha Opens Up About Divorce, Trolling, and Her Wedding Gown Redesign

Samantha often speaks about the challenges she has faced in her life, such as divorce and myositis. Recently, in an interview, she discussed the trolling she faced after her divorce and talked about the social challenges women encounter. She pointed out that when a relationship ends, women are often blamed. Unfortunately, she expressed frustration that we live in such a society. Samantha shared how many false rumors were spread about her.

Speaking about divorce, Samantha said, “After a divorce, society tags women with labels like ‘second-hand,’ ‘her life is wasted,’ ‘used,’ and I don’t understand why these labels are attached to women. These labels hurt the woman and her family. They discourage women who are already struggling. Many false rumors were spread about me. Since they are lies, I don’t want to talk about them. During tough times, my friends and family supported me, and I am thankful to them.”

Regarding her wedding gown, Samantha shared, “I decided to remodel my wedding gown, and it made me feel a lot of pain. Redesigning the gown wasn’t an act of revenge. I have never wanted to hide anything that happened in my life. Going through many tough phases and overcoming them was just a symbol of strength, but my life didn’t end there. It starts again from where it ends. Right now, I am very happy.”

In her work on Citadel: Honey Bunny, Samantha said she faced several challenges. When Raj & DK first approached her, she initially refused after seeing the action sequences. She revealed that due to her health condition, she couldn’t perform the action scenes and suggested the directors choose actresses like Kriti Sanon or Kiara Advani, who would be better suited for the role.
