The actor and the filmmaker tied the knot in an intimate, traditional ceremony held in Coimbatore on December 1. Samantha confirmed the wedding on Instagram three days later, following which the internet began buzzing with reactions. Since then, new images from her pre-wedding events have begun circulating widely on social platforms.

Fresh pictures from the mehendi ceremony, shared by Samantha’s longtime friend Meghna Vinod, offer a warm glimpse into the festivities. The photos show Samantha beaming as she displays her mehendi while Raj is seen recording the moment on his phone. Additional images feature the actor during the Varmala ritual, holding her flower garland and looking toward Raj, along with several light-hearted moments with friends that reflect the relaxed mood of the celebration.

Meghna penned an emotional note with the photos, writing, “What I witnessed is a love that lifts and balances, hears and reassures, softens and liberates. Watching you get married, I’ve seen a joy in you, @samantharuthprabhuoffl, that feels wonderfully new. I feel blessed to gain a brother for life in Raj. Love you both endlessly. Online reactions to the wedding were varied. While many congratulated the couple, others discussed parts of Raj’s past, including conversations around his previous marriage and the legal timeline of his separation. Amid this, Raj’s sister Sheetal shared a family picture from the ceremony, writing that her tears were not of sorrow but of gratitude. She added that she was thankful for the calmness she felt, the clarity their family had reached, and the “gentle alignment” she sensed in Samantha and Raj’s relationship.

Samantha and Raj first worked together on the Prime Video series The Family Man Season 2. Their connection reportedly deepened while collaborating on Citadel: Honey Bunny. What began as a professional association has now culminated in a wedding celebration in Coimbatore.

Samantha was earlier married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The two parted ways in 2021 after four years of marriage. Chaitanya later married actor Sobhita Dhulipala in 2024.
