Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been facing health issues lately, including chikungunya. On Instagram, she shared an update about her recovery, posting a clip of herself working out in the gym while wearing a purple outfit. She humorously mentioned dealing with joint pain as she recovers.

Previously, Samantha also revealed suffering a concussion on the set of Citadel and shared her struggles with memory loss after the incident. In 2022, she publicly discussed her diagnosis of myositis, an autoimmune condition, and the challenges it brought to her work and personal life.

Samantha’s last project was Citadel: Honey Bunny, which premiered on Prime Video in November 2024. She stars alongside Varun Dhawan in the action series.
