To celebrate Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s birthday on April 28, a devoted fan named Sandeep constructed a temple in her honor in Alapadu village, Bapatla district, Andhra Pradesh. He placed an idol of the actress in the temple and marked the occasion with a cake-cutting ceremony and a food donation for local children.

Samantha’s most recent project was Citadel: Honey Bunny, in which she starred alongside Varun Dhawan. Although the show received positive feedback, Amazon MGM Studios has announced it will not return for a second season. Instead, its storyline will be integrated into Citadel Season 2, which is scheduled for a global release in Q2 2026.
