Samantha Ruth Prabhu has addressed allegations made by Telangana Minister Konda Surekha, who claimed that BRS president KT Rama Rao (KTR) was responsible for her divorce from Naga Chaitanya. Surekha suggested that KTR demanded Samantha's presence in exchange for not demolishing Nagarjuna Akkineni’s N-Convention Centre, which led to tensions and ultimately their separation.

In response, Samantha stated on Instagram that her divorce was a mutual and amicable decision, urging Surekha not to trivialize her journey or speculate about her personal life. Naga Chaitanya called Surekha's claims "false" and "unacceptable," emphasizing the need for privacy. Nagarjuna condemned the remarks as inappropriate and requested a retraction.

On a personal note, Naga Chaitanya is now engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala, with plans for a traditional wedding.
