The Revanth Reddy government's alleged environmental destruction on 400 acres of HCU land has sparked widespread criticism. Students have launched massive protests demanding the protection of Kanch Gachibowli lands. Several political leaders and film celebrities have already responded to this issue. Meanwhile, as student protests intensified, the police resorted to lathi charge.

Tollywood actress Samantha recently reacted to the controversy through Instagram. She shared an article from the English daily Telangana Today about the 400-acre land issue at HCU. She also voiced her support for the protection of Kanch Gachibowli lands. Additionally, she urged people to sign a petition on Change.org, a platform addressing social issues.
