Sandeep Reddy Vanga Shares Insight on Sai Pallavi's Role in Arjun Reddy and Excitement for Tandel Release

After the success of Karthikeya 2, director Chandu Mondeti is helming the movie Tandel, starring Naga Chaitanya and natural beauty Sai Pallavi as the lead pair. The film is set to release worldwide on February 7. The team hosted a pre-release event for the movie in Hyderabad on Sunday, with director of Animal, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, as the chief guest. During the event, he expressed his wishes for the movie’s success. He also revealed that he had initially considered Sai Pallavi as the heroine for his earlier film, Arjun Reddy.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared, "The Tandel teaser, trailer, and songs all show intense emotions. Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have perfectly adapted to their roles. I first saw Chaitanya while working on the KD film, and I really liked his dressing style and car driving. For films like Kabir Singh and Animal, I had shown Chaitanya’s costume references to the designer. I became a fan of Sai Pallavi after watching Premam. Initially, for Arjun Reddy, I had thought of casting Sai Pallavi as the heroine. I even contacted a coordinator for it. But he said, ‘Where’s the romantic story in your movie? Forget about that, sir... She doesn't even wear sleeveless dresses.’ As opportunities came, the heroines kept changing. But Sai Pallavi remained unchanged. Chandu and I have been friends for eight years. For Naga Chaitanya’s fans, this movie is a celebration. I attended the Majili event, and it became a hit. I believe this movie will be the same.”
