Following the incident, the Chikkadapally police issued a show-cause notice to Sandhya Theatre, questioning why its license should not be revoked due to the death caused by the stampede. The police have warned that if the theatre does not provide an explanation within a week, its license could be revoked. Despite knowing about Allu Arjun's visit, the theatre management failed to plan the entry and exit properly. They even allowed Allu Arjun and his private security inside the theatre. The police found that the theatre did not have a proper system to check tickets and allowed unauthorized entry, resulting in overcrowding.
