Sandhya Theatre Stampede One Dead, Three Arrested

During the Pushpa 2 The Rule benefit show at Sandhya Theatre in RTC Cross Roads on the night of the 4th of this month, a stampede occurred as Allu Arjun's arrival triggered chaos. In the incident, a woman named Revathi (39) lost her life, while her 9-year-old son, Shritheja, sustained injuries. Shritheja is currently receiving treatment at NIMS Hospital. After the incident, the police filed a case against Allu Arjun.

Three Arrested in Connection to the Incident

Recently, police have arrested three individuals in connection with the stampede.Following the complaint from the deceased woman's family, the police arrested a security guard and two individuals linked to the theatre's management.ACP Chikkadapally is expected to reveal further details about the investigation.

Allu Arjun's Condolence & Financial Support

Allu Arjun has expressed his deep sorrow over the tragic incident. In his statement, he said that such events happening at a theatre, which is meant to bring joy to audiences, are deeply painful. He expressed his condolences to Revathi's family and announced financial assistance of ₹25 lakh to support them, emphasizing his commitment to standing by their side during this difficult time. Additionally, a senior police official revealed that there have been recommendations to shut down Sandhya Theatre following the incident.
