The highly anticipated Sankranthiki Vasthunnam, starring Venkatesh, is set to release on January 14, 2025, for Sankranti, but its OTT deal is still unresolved. Despite the film generating considerable buzz with hit songs composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, the OTT platform offers so far haven’t met the expectations of producer Dil Raju. As a result, the film will be released theatrically first, with hopes that post-release momentum will help secure a better OTT deal.

Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sankranthiki Vasthunnam follows the story of a married man and his ex-girlfriend working together to solve a kidnapping, amidst family drama. The film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Aishwarya Rajesh.
