The biopic based on the life of the famous actress Shakeela has suddenly made its way to OTT after five years. The film, titled "Shakeela," was made in Bollywood and directed by Indrajit Lankesh, starring Bollywood actress Richa Chadda in the role of Shakeela. Other key actors in the film include Pankaj Tripathi, Tollywood actress Esther Noronha, Rajeev Pillai, Shiv Rana, Kajol Chugh, Sandeep Malani, and others. This biopic was released in theaters on December 25, 2020, and was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages. However, Shakeela's film was an average performer. Due to the high adult content, it only garnered attention from a specific section of the audience. Additionally, the movie was affected by piracy due to Shakeela's popularity, with the film being shared on YouTube as well. Now, this bold movie has suddenly arrived on OTT platforms.

The film "Shakeela" is now streaming on the popular OTT platform, Amazon Prime Video. However, currently, only the Hindi version is available. As a result, the Telugu audience has been posting on social media, requesting the Telugu version. It is expected that the Telugu version of Shakeela will be available for streaming in the next couple of days.

The movie "Shakeela" was produced under the banner of Prakash Palani, with Sami Nanvani and Sharavana Prasad as the producers. The music was composed by Veer Samarth. Notably, Shiv Rana, who had previously appeared as Prakash Raj's girlfriend in Mahesh Babu's movie "Pokiri," plays the role of Silk Smitha in this film. The movie depicts Shakeela's journey from a struggling actress to becoming an adult film star. It shows the hardships she faced, the humiliation from her family members, and the betrayals she endured throughout her life.
