Sharwanand Eyes Pawan Kalyan's 'Johnny' Title for His Next Film

Recently, young Tollywood heroes have started using Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s old movie titles and songs. From his film titles to his popular songs, nothing is being left out. Varun Tej, Pawan’s brother’s son, already made a hit by remaking Tholi Prema, an all-time classic from Pawan’s career. Similarly, Nithiin, a die-hard fan of Pawan Kalyan, took Thammudu and is working on it under Dil Raju’s banner with director Venu Sriram. Vijay Deverakonda used Khushi as his movie title but got an average response, while anchor Pradeep recently took Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi as his movie title.

Not just movie titles, young actors are even using words from Pawan’s songs as film titles. Movies like Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham and Kevvu Keka have already been released. Now, it seems that talented Tollywood actor Sharwanand is also eyeing one of Pawan Kalyan’s film titles. Sharwanand is currently working on a film under the UV Creations banner, directed by Abhilash. Reports suggest that senior actor Rajasekhar is playing Sharwanand’s father in this film, which is progressing at a brisk pace.

It is being speculated that the makers are considering Johnny as the film’s title. After the super hit Khushi, Pawan Kalyan’s Johnny was released with high expectations but turned out to be a disaster at the box office. However, over time, the film has gained a cult following among fans. Since Johnny has a special emotional connection with Pawan’s fans, they are expressing dissatisfaction over Sharwanand using this title for his upcoming film.
