Singer Mangli Breaks Silence on Birthday Party Raid, Denies Allegations

It is well-known that singer Mangli's birthday celebration became controversial. On Tuesday night, a party was held at Tripura Resort in Chevella, and police reportedly conducted a surprise raid at midnight. They allegedly seized a large quantity of foreign liquor and marijuana. News reports claimed that cases were filed against Mangli and a few others. Responding to the allegations of organizing the party without permission, Mangli clarified that she was unaware that prior permission was required for liquor use and stated she did nothing wrong. She released a selfie video addressing the issue.

Mangli explained, “The birthday party was arranged by my parents' wish and was attended by family members and relatives. Along with our family, friends were also present. Liquor and a sound system were arranged. I was completely unaware that permission was needed for using liquor and sound systems. The resort party was not pre-planned; it was a sudden idea. No one informed me. Had I known, I would not have committed any mistake.”

“There were no banned substances at the party other than locally available liquor. Even during the police search, they found no narcotics. The police themselves said that those who tested positive might have consumed something earlier elsewhere. An investigation is already ongoing, and we are cooperating with the police. Please don’t make baseless accusations against me,” Mangli concluded in her video.
