Mahesh Babu and Rajamouli’s film has completed two schedules in Hyderabad and Odisha. The third shooting schedule is currently underway on elaborate Kashi-themed sets in Hyderabad.

Priyanka Chopra plays the female lead, with Prithviraj Sukumaran in a key role. The fourth schedule will be shot in Kenya and other African forests in July, featuring major action scenes.

Rajamouli calls it an Indiana Jones-style adventure. A rumored plot involves the search for the mythical Sanjeevani plant. The film SSMB 29 is set to release in 2027.
