Videos of allegations made by budding singer Pravasti have gone viral on social media. In response, renowned playback singer Sunitha reacted strongly to these comments. She condemned Pravasti’s remarks and said that the latter was portraying herself as a victim by misrepresenting facts.

Sunitha said, “Pravasti… I too admired you in your childhood. But at this age, it's not appropriate to behave like this. When someone sings well, we genuinely get emotional and involved. I think you haven't watched those specific episodes. It’s disappointing that you've reached a stage where you're publicly discussing us. You’ve participated in many competitions—don’t you know how the process works? Some channels have rights to specific songs. You should explain all this clearly to the audience. Only then will I be truly happy.”She further added, “In music shows, channels have certain limitations. So, not every song can be performed. Only songs for which they hold the rights are allowed in the competition.”
