Superstar Rajinikanth has been discharged from Apollo Hospital in Chennai after four days of treatment for swelling in his aorta. Admitted on September 30, 2024, the 73-year-old underwent a successful non-surgical stent placement led by Dr. Sai Satish.

After his condition improved, Rajinikanth left the hospital late on October 4, bringing joy to his fans. While he is recovering, doctors advised him to rest for three weeks, causing him to miss promotional activities for his upcoming film, Vettaiyan, releasing on October 10, 2024. Many from the film industry have sent their support during this time.
