Supreme Court Warns YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadia

The Supreme Court criticized YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia for making obscene remarks on the ‘India’s Got Latent Show’ on March 7. The court questioned whether he considered vulgar jokes in public shows as talent. However, the court granted permission for him to resume ‘The Ranveer Show’ while cautioning that the content must adhere to social norms.

The Supreme Court also suggested that the government should spread awareness about broadcasting regulations and content restrictions. During the hearing on Ranveer Allahbadia’s petition seeking permission to restart his show, the court emphasized the need for compliance with existing guidelines.

Earlier, on March 17, during ‘India’s Got Latent Show,’ Ranveer Allahbadia asked a contestant an inappropriate question about witnessing their parents’ intimacy. This sparked outrage among netizens, leading to strong criticism. As a result, his show was banned, and legal cases were filed against him.
