Suriya's Vaadivaasal with Vetrimaaran to Restart in April 2024

One of Tamil cinema's star directors, Vetrimaaran, had earlier started a film titled Vaadivaasal with Suriya, based on the Tamil traditional sport of Jallikattu. However, for unknown reasons, the project was shelved, with Vetrimaaran moving on to direct the Viduthalai series. Fans had assumed Vaadivaasal would no longer happen.

Now, reports suggest that Vaadivaasal is set to restart and will go on floors in April next year. Suriya has already undergone training for the film, which is based on the traditional Tamil cultural backdrop of Jallikattu. Fans are thrilled about this collaboration with Vetrimaaran, raising their excitement and expectations for the project.
