Telangana Issues Notice to Singer Diljit Dosanjh

Telangana authorities have issued notices to renowned Punjab pop singer Diljit Singh. Today, during a concert at Novotel in Shamshabad, they have instructed him not to sing songs that promote drugs, alcohol, and violence.

A complaint was lodged by a professor from Chandigarh after Diljit Singh performed songs that allegedly encouraged drugs, alcohol, and violence during his concert in October at Delhi’s JNU. Following this, Telangana authorities took action and became alert.

In response, Diljit Singh has been served notices by the Women's and Child Welfare authorities, directing him not to conduct a show that promotes drugs, alcohol, and violence.
