Tollywood Stars Begin 2026 With Film Shootings, Skip New Year Celebrations

In recent days, several Tollywood actors have been marking the Christmas season in their own way. From the night of December 24 through December 31, cinema lovers are enjoying festive releases and celebrations across the industry.

Currently, many Tollywood stars are celebrating Christmas with enthusiasm. While December 31 is usually reserved for New Year celebrations, January 1 typically becomes a rest day for many. However, January 1, 2026, is turning out to be different, as several leading stars will be actively involved in film shoots instead of taking a holiday.

Rebel Star Prabhas is continuing work on director Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit. The current shooting schedule is set to continue until January 5, indicating that filming will also take place on New Year’s Day. Similarly, Jr NTR will be busy shooting for director Prashanth Neel’s next project. Superstar Mahesh Babu’s film Varanasi, directed by SS Rajamouli, is also scheduled to begin filming on January 1. These top actors are welcoming 2026 by staying committed to their professional responsibilities.

Natasimha Balakrishna is also preparing to spend the New Year on set, working on his latest project under the direction of Gopichand Malineni. Megastar Chiranjeevi will be welcoming the New Year while promoting his film Mana Sankaravara Prasad garu. Venkatesh is currently occupied with the shoot of Trivikram’s Adarsh Kutumbakam.
