Top Celebrities Under Investigation for Betting App Promotions

Police are gathering evidence from organizers regarding those promoting betting apps. Recently, influencer Tasty Teja was questioned by the police regarding the same issue. The Panjagutta police interrogated him about how betting app organizers contacted him and what kind of payments he received. Along with actors and actresses, several influencers are also under surveillance.

With evidence of money laundering through hawala transactions, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has stepped into the betting app case. This has created panic among those who promoted the apps. Many influencers have already switched off their mobile phones. Special teams have been deployed to track their whereabouts using technical means.

Meanwhile, the Miyapur police have registered cases against celebrities who promoted betting apps. Cases have been filed against Manchu Lakshmi, Nidhhi Agerwal, and 25 others. The names of Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, and Vijay Deverakonda are also included in the list. Additionally, cases have been registered against Shobha Shetty, Amrutha Chowdhary, Nayani Pavani, Pandu, Neha Pathan, Padmavathi, Imran Khan, Harsha Sai, Bayya Sunny Yadav, Shyamala, Vishnupriya, Tasty Teja, and Ritu Chowdhary.
