Trisha Joins Suriya 45, Reuniting with Suriya After Aaru

Dream Warrior Pictures, the production banner of Suriya 45, has confirmed that Trisha has joined the film's cast, putting to rest recent speculations about her involvement. The untitled film is being directed by RJ Balaji. As previously reported, Sai Abhyankar has replaced AR Rahman as the music composer for the film. This project marks the reunion of Suriya and Trisha after their 2005 film Aaru. It also brings Suriya back with his NGK producers and RJ Balaji with the makers of Sorgavaasal, SR Prabu and SR Prakash Babu of Dream Warrior Pictures.

The film was officially launched with a pooja ceremony earlier this year, and it is currently in pre-production. The makers have yet to disclose further details about the plot and characters of Suriya 45. On the technical side, the film features cinematography by GK Vishnu.

Suriya’s upcoming projects also include an untitled film with director Karthik Subbaraj, featuring co-stars Pooja Hegde, Joju George, Jayaram, and Karunakaran. Meanwhile, RJ Balaji leads the cast of Happy Ending, directed by Ammamuthu Surya, produced by Million Dollar Studios, which previously backed Good Night and Lover. Trisha also has Vidaamuyarchi with Ajith in the pipeline.
