At Potty Sriramulu College in Vijayawada, a physically challenged student had been waiting to meet Varun before his arrival. When Varun arrived, he sat down right next to her, shook her hand, and conversed with her. He also took photos with her. These photos and videos have since gone viral, with many people appreciating Varun’s gesture.

Matka is being produced under the banners of Vyra Entertainment and SRT Entertainment, with Karun Kumar directing the film. The movie, starring Varun Tej and Meenakshi Chaudhary, is based on the popular game "Matka" and tells the story of a don who grew up in Visakhapatnam.
