Varun Tej Visits Kondagattu Anjanna Temple Amid Matka Film's Box Office Setback

Varun Tej Visits Kondagattu Anjanna Temple

Mega hero Varun Tej recently visited the Kondagattu Anjanna Temple. He arrived at the temple early on Tuesday morning, where he was warmly welcomed by the priests and officials with a ceremonial welcome using a pot of water. During his visit, Varun Tej performed special prayers at the temple. After the prayers, he was given the Lord’s picture and sacred offerings.

Varun Tej's recent film, Matka, set against a periodic backdrop, was directed by Karun Kumar, known for his work on Palasa 1978. The film stars Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi in the main roles.Despite the high expectations, the film, which was released on November 14 in Telugu, Tamil, and several other languages, turned out to be a disaster at the box office.

While Varun Tej's performance was appreciated, the movie's storyline did not meet expectations, resulting in an unexpected flop. The film is now set for an OTT release on Amazon Prime Video on December 5, where it will be available in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi.
