Vijay Devarakonda Apologizes For Tribal Remarks

Actor Vijay Devarakonda clarified that he never intended to hurt anyone with his recent comments at the 'Retro' movie pre-release event. Though he stated he didn’t use the term “tribal” offensively, a complaint was filed against him by the Tribals Lawyers Association, who claimed the remarks were insulting and demanded SC/ST atrocity action.

In response, Vijay issued a public apology, emphasizing his respect for Scheduled Tribes and affirming that he used “tribe” in a historical and general sense, referring to ancient human societies, not modern classifications. He added that if anyone felt hurt, he sincerely apologized and reiterated his message was only about peace and unity.
